| Community Involvement Rink Management Services has a strong history of community involvement as shown by activities at all RMS-managed facilities. Providing safe and enjoyable recreational facilities to all area residents is of paramount importance, and we try to expand the customer universe as far as possible while responding to community needs. At RMS facilities, we have used
various types of programs to reward positive behavior and excellence
among youth. Several of our client rinks work with local libraries
to encourage children to read more, rewarding them with free skate
passes for reading a certain number of books. Currently, our skating
rinks all host Family Nights, which feature a specific night where
a whole family gets admission for a nominal sum; and "Introduction
to..." programs that allow the underprivileged to enjoy the
sport at a minimal price.
